Problem
Cryptocurrency mining platforms are typically built for technically experienced users. Interfaces often expose complex mining metrics, infrastructure data, and financial indicators without clear guidance.This creates several challenges:
– new users struggle to understand mining performance and profitability
– complex dashboards make it difficult to monitor miners and hashrate
– users cannot easily connect mining activity with financial outcomes
– advanced functionality overwhelms inexperienced users
As a result, users often require additional tools or external resources to manage their mining activity and evaluate profitability.
The challenge was to design a product that works for both experienced miners and new users entering the mining ecosystem.
Solution
Designed a simplified mining platform interface that makes mining performance and profitability easier to understand while preserving advanced functionality for experienced users. The product was structured around three key areas:
– mining performance monitoring
– asset and income management
– crypto trading and liquidity tools
User segmentation based on mining experience helped determine the level of complexity presented in the interface.
The design introduced clearer analytics dashboards, simplified visualizations of mining activity, and guided interaction patterns that help users navigate the product without deep technical knowledge.
